Choosing your tackle and purchasing

Buying your tackle online with BFT is simple, browse our online catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection (s), click on "Check-out" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order. All tackle items with BFT are subject to availability of stock. If the tackle item you have chosen and purchased is out of stock or has been discontinued we will have to cancel your order and we will immediately refund you fully via the method you made the payment.

A successful order is acknowledged by a confirmation email from BFT, it is at this point that the transaction between you (the customer) and BFT takes place and then your account will be charged. On dispatch of the order you will receive another email confirmation along with any tracking details (if applicable).

Payment Provider / Secured Shopping with PROTX and LLOYDS TSB CARDNET

We accept ALL major credit cards as payment via Protx & Lloyds TSB Cardnet’s secured checkout software. If you are shopping with us from Europe or elsewhere the charge for the item(s) bought will always be in GBP Sterling. The exchange rates on our site are an estimate only and DO NOT represent the exchange rate of the day. The issuer of your credit card will convert the transaction to your own currency.

If the item(s) you choose are either on back order or direct delivery from the manufacturer (particular Rods and Reels are produced / assembled on request) and advertised as such on our site, a successful order will still be acknowledged by a confirmation email from BFT, it is at this point that the transaction between you (the customer) and BFT takes place and then your account will be charged.

We ensure to send out all orders within 1 – 2 business days, we ship 6 days per week, Monday to Friday shipping is up until 12 midnight GMT / BST , on Saturday shipping is before 11am.

European orders are usually schedule as per those for the United Kingdom, there is no delay.

Shipping

All items are professionally packaged and shipped and are usually delivered within 8 working days of dispatch confirmation. To ensure prices are kept at a minimum, Please Note:  ( Vendor Order item ) This item is a 'Special Order' from our vendor - Once we recieve your payment - Your reel will be released from our vendors warehouse and you can expect deliv. to your home or business in 7-10 business days for UK shipments ( business days exclude weekends and holidays )

DUTY, VAT & CUSTOMS

Duty, additional VAT and Customs fees, we make every attempt to ensure that there will be no additional fees in relation to VAT, Customs & Duty Fees for all shipments within the European Union.

For purchases made outside of the European Union, we endeavour to ship your item so that it will NOT attract Customs or Duty fees. However in the unlikely event that your shipment does attract Customs or Duty fees they are entirely the responsibility of the customer NOT BFT Bargain Fishing Tackle.

Returns & Exchanges

We will gladly exchange or refund your unused purchase if you return it within 14 days of receipt.  Unused or defective merchandise may be returned to BFT in Lincolnshire at any time with a receipt within 14 days from the date of delivery with a copy of the original invoice / receipt.  Exchanged goods may incur a further postal charge.

Credit Card Refunds

We promise to refund your credit card the moment your return arrives with BFT, however on returns, we can only refund the credit card / debit card used for the original purchase. No other form of refund can be given, i.e. cheque, money order cash or bank direct transfer, unless of course this is the form of payment you used to complete your original purchase.  With credit cards please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.

Privacy Policy

BFT will not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your data.
